Words & verses

Verse, the Names and the letters, set with care.

Twenty verses in the Uthmani text of the King Fahd Quran Complex, set in Amiri Quran with each reference on the print. All ninety-nine Beautiful Names, each with its meaning. Twenty Arabic words for a home, and the letters of the alphabet set large in Huruf.

Ar-Ra'd 13:28 in cream at the heart of a gold shamsa, a sunburst rosette of alternating rays, on midnight blue.
The Name As-Salam, the Source of Peace, set large in classical Naskh calligraphy with vowel marks, inside a ten-pointed star medallion drawn in fine gold on a warm bone ground, with the transliteration and meaning set quietly beneath.
The word noor, light, in classical Naskh, set in midnight blue within a saffron disc on a midnight ground.
The letter alif drawn tall and tapering in Amiri, in ink on bone beside a terracotta column.
